Back in the days when I was young.. visiting this province in Antique involves stories on witches, fairies, half horse, half man walking at midnight, dwarfs, etc.
While the village gets populated (we already have a few neighbors) and kids get educated and move away from this province, somehow these fairy tales are gone away.
Although the other night, me, my niece and aunt talked about the “tinagong dagat” (hidden sea), the golden cave with a golden horse, sirena and that tall half horse-half man that walks the village at 4am.. No one knows if these are true or not but Im so glad I havent seen any yet :D.. and I dont plan to see one, no thank you.
So anyway, out of the weird things that I bought.. Anting antings are now being commercialized! Heard about fusion excel? I attended the seminar about it in Ilo-ilo and I actually bought it for 1 thousand pesos (the original price is 5 thousand ha!).. it looks like an anting anting that you wear like a necklace.. keeps you away from radiation and negative energies. True or not, lemme test it yet then ill let you know :D

ay. LOL! cge mag reresearch ako nyan :D… Nawawala na ang art of “anting antings” lalo na pag nagiging educated na ang mga tao dito at pumupunta na sa concrete jungles called cities para mag work… but who knows, its still being practiced here somewhere.. katakot lang no! :P

My mom is from lingayen dami din nila pamahiin and Nung kids pa kami meron kaming anting-anting against mga multo daw or mangkukulam… Hehe. Now I want anting-anting panghatak ng mga guys! Lol! ;-)

Yeah anting antings are so much commercialized already. Though I really want to visit Antique. I think it would be such an adventure :p
Oh, and 1000 bucks for anting anting? Haha I hope it does its “job” so it will be worth it :p
Hmmm… so even ang mga anting-anting “entrepreneurs” ay nag-evolve na din, hehehehe. I wouldn’t be surprised if they will have a filipino online auction site one of these days… or probably meron na, i’m not just aware of.
